Artemizia “Zia” Walker-Chinoy has built a career around her lifelong passion for dogs, earning a reputation throughout the Berkeley, California, community as a compassionate animal care professional and skilled dog behavior specialist. Since 2013, Artemizia Walker-Chinoy has operated Walker's Walks & Pet Care, where she provides dog walking, pet sitting, leash training, and behavior support for puppies, rescued animals, and pets with unique behavioral or medical needs. Her personalized approach and ability to build trust with both animals and their owners have helped her develop a loyal and growing client base.
Before establishing herself as an independent pet care provider, Zia Walker-Chinoy gained extensive hands-on experience with respected organizations, including the Milo Foundation, Metro Dog, Mud Puppies, and Wag Hotel. These roles allowed her to work with abandoned, abused, senior, and high-energy dogs while developing expertise in exercise, socialization, grooming, and daily animal care. She also held part-time receptionist positions at Equinox and SoulCycle, where she strengthened her customer service, organization, and communication skills.
